Continuous improvement is at the heart of Lessine’s priorities. To this end, we rely on external expertise, holding various certifications for quality, safety, environmental impact, and social responsibility.
Lessine is firmly committed to safety, with formal recognition of our management system. The VCA certification, obtained in 2008 and continuously improved and extended, demonstrates the concrete implementation of our safety policy.
Our safety goals include:
- prevention of bodily injuries
- protection of third parties
- prevention of material and environmental damage
- establishing safety priorities in company management
- a commitment to continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental standards
To achieve these objectives, we provide ongoing, appropriate training to our personnel working on-site. Each project is managed with a continuous focus on safety, working closely with clients and considering the specific requirements of each location.
The quality of our designs and manufacturing is central to our mission. Our dedication to continuous improvement is confirmed by the ISO 9001:2015 certification. Our top priority is to deliver a product tailored to both usage and equipment manufacturing requirements. Established procedures ensure a consistent and progressively advancing level of quality, driven by ongoing development and improvements.
Recognizing that every client has unique requirements, we commit to delivering the most suitable solution for each application, ensuring compliance with these requirements at every project stage. Client specifications are integrated from the outset, and when specifications are not provided, we collaborate closely to propose a reliable and cost-effective solution, drawing from our extensive experience.
Lessine also stands out for its expertise in processes involving explosive materials, providing solutions that ensure operator and process safety in accordance with ATEX standards and certifications.
While not all clients are exposed to explosive risk zones, we offer ATEX-certified equipment upon request. Our objective is to ensure the safety of employees and equipment, adhering to international health and safety standards.
When required or mandatory, the certification process is carried out in collaboration with approved third-party organizations. We provide clients with a technical assessment of the real hazard area and risk level, with applicable certification for ATEX zones ranging from zone 1 to 3 for gases and 20 to 22 for dust.
Committed to innovation, Lessine is also a member of the GreenWin (BE) and Team2 (FR) competitiveness clusters. Our involvement in developing new processes for the circular economy and decarbonization is reinforced by our participation in various national and international research programs.
